Hi there! You might see my face popping up from time to time on here so I thought I really should introduce myself in case you started to think Simply into My Hair had been hijacked! I am Tracey's little sister Carissa. I have recently decided to try and grow the relaxer out of my hair to get back to my natural texture with the least amount of breakage as possible. Tracey has kindly given me this spot on her fabulous blog to share my hair journey with you all and I am super duper excited (super duper?!! I don't actually talk like that!)

I am super excited about some new news that I have to share with you!!! My sister has decided to transition back to her natural hair!

Wash Day Diary @ 13 Weeks Post: 12.10.13

 "Just over a week ago, I did my first wash day following my recent henna gloss treatment.  It went well and I must say, I am really enjoying this low maintenance no muss no fuss approach to my hair at the moment."

My wash day actually began two days beforehand but I got as far as unravelling one braid and decided that I wasn't up to the hours of dedication needed so I rebraided the section and watched TV with my boyfriend instead...... 

A Short Tale Of Ten Sections..........!

"It has become quite apparent to me that I will be keeping my hair in these ten sections for a while"

These little sections have become a familiar and constant part of my hair life for the past three weeks and in that time we have grown quite attached….
